On September 28, Ambassador Osvaldo Mársico attended the opening of the "Inclusive Culture of Remembrance in the Classroom" seminar, organized by the local NGO TERRA FORMING in collaboration with international partners.
The seminar—aimed primarily at educators, museum and archive professionals, and experts—represents a key component of the ongoing work that TERRA FORMING, like many other Serbian and international actors, carries out in the field of Holocaust remembrance.
For Argentina—which currently holds the IHRA Presidency—focusing on education and research regarding the Holocaust and the Roma Genocide is of fundamental importance. Such efforts serve to prevent and counter rising trends of Holocaust denial and distortion and antisemitism, while also preparing present and future generations to deal with the misuse of new technologies.
We extend our sincere thanks to Misko Stanisic and his team for inviting the Embassy to participate in the seminar's opening.
